The Chairman of Newsportal Limited, Mr. ThankGod Ntaku, has congratulated the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP in Ukwa West Local Government Area, Pastor Dike Nwankwo, on emerging victorious in the Abia State Local Government election that held on Saturday.
Ntaku, who also extended his congratulations to the running mate of the Ukwa West ZLP candidate, Pastor Joel Nwankwo, said he was convinced that both Dike Nwankwo and Joel Nwankwo had the capacity and necessary leadership qualities to steer the ship of Ukwa West in a manner that would enthrone peace, stability and ensure the growth and development of the local government area.
He urged them to take a cue from the Mayor of the Local Government Area, Mr. Newman Azu, who he said, had done very well, particularly in the area of infrastructure development and restoring confidence of people in government.
Ntaku, while calling on the entire people of Ukwa to give the new leadership of the local government unalloyed support, urged Pastor Dike Nwankwo to allow his campaign promises of transparency, equity, fairness and accountability guide all his actions.
