The Asa Development Union, ADU, has expressed its deep appreciation to the General Manager of the Abia State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ASOPADEC, for the progress made so far on the Asa Development Centre.
It should be recalled that the reconstruction of the Civic Centre was awarded by the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, and abandoned for several years, before the Abia State Government led by Dr. Alex Otti, through the ASOPADEC decided to take over the project.
A public statement by the Acting President General, ADU, Barrister Godson O. C. Ihenko reads:
“The General Manager, ASOPADEC, Venerable Joshua Onyeike Ph.D, I lack words to express my deep appreciation for the humongous and unprecedented work you have done on Asa Civic Hall. You took this project personal and has shown uncommon interest towards it’s completion.
May the Lord continue to bless you more and more, IJN.
“Also, my warm appreciation goes to the Contractor handling this project, Vichin Consult. This Contractor have not left that site from the day he commenced that project till date. What an uncommon dedication to Duty. May the Lord bless you, my brother, IJN.
“Upon visiting that site today, deep emotions caught a larger part of me.
“Once more, on behalf of ADU, I appreciate this profound work by GM, ASOPADEC. I pray that God shall grant you the grace to bring this project to total completion and commissioning.”
