The Commissioner for Environment in Abia State, Mr. Philemon Asonye Ogbonna has confirmed that citizens can participate in the first-ever Abia State Stakeholder Engagement on Climate Change via Zoom.
In a statement, Ogbonna said he deemed it necessary to make the clarification in view of the exploitation of the zoom platform by unscrupulous persons to defraud the unsuspecting members of the public.
The Commissioner, who disclosed that the stakeholder engagement will hold at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia between August 29 and August 30, 2024, gave the theme of the Engagement as, Towards Abia State Climate Governance Policy Framework: Widening Participation For Sustainable Growth.
