The National Universities Commission, NUC, has approved new programmes for the University of Port Harcourt.
The University can now admit students in the 2023/2024 academic session for the following programmes:
BSc Agricultural Extension and Development Studies
BSc Cyber Security
BMLS Medical Laboratory Science
BSc AgriBusiness Management
BSc Broadcasting
BSc Information Technology
BSc Journalism and Media Studies
BSc Film Production
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D).
On the development, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Owunari Gerogewill said, “We will continue to do our very best to expand the frontier of knowledge in the University of Port Harcourt.”
