Abia Lawmaker Godwin Adiele Mobilises Obokwe Ward for Labour Party Primaries, Assures Of Continued Good Governance From Governor Otti

The lawmaker representing Ukwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Godwin Anyamagiobi Adiele, on Saturday mobilised members of Obokwe Ward to participate in the Labour Party (LP) primary elections held across Abia State.

Addressing a large gathering of party faithful after the successful conduct of the primaries, Adiele commended members of the Labour Party for their massive turnout and commitment to the democratic process. He thanked party supporters for voting in the primaries and demonstrating their continued confidence in the Labour Party’s leadership and vision for Abia State.

The lawmaker assured the members that Governor Alex Otti remains committed to delivering quality governance and sustainable development across the state. According to him, the governor is determined to deepen the ongoing transformation in Abia and improve the welfare of the people.

Adiele also urged eligible voters who have not yet obtained their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The Labour Party primary elections in Ukwa West featured unopposed aspirants for key elective positions. Dr. Alex Chioma Otti emerged as the party’s governorship candidate, while Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe secured the senatorial ticket. Engr. Adinigwe Ugochukwu Nwoke emerged as the party’s candidate for the House of Representatives, and Surveyor Joshua Ahukanna clinched the House of Assembly ticket.
