Capacity Building: NASENI Trains 102 Staff On Soft Skills, Personal Development

National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, NASENI, in its continued efforts to build the capacity of staff for effective service delivery and productive output at work place, has commenced the first batch of training of staff from different departments in the Agency’s headquarters.

A statement by Deputy Director, Information, Chima Akwaja, explained that the training which is in segments and facilitated by CERCA Africa, commenced with a two-day workshop on “Soft Skills and Personal Development” for 102 staff selected from grade level 7-13 covering different departments, from May 24-25, 2024 at the Exclusive Serene Hotel and Suites, Abuja.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, Mr. Alhaji Hassan Sadiq, a senior staff of the Agency, expressed gratitude to the Executive Vice Chairman / Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, for providing valuable training opportunity for staff from all departments and units of the Agency.

The training modules include sessions on: Empathy in Action: Building Stronger Teams through Emotional Intelligence and Relationships Building and Personal Finance Management, Understanding Soft Skills and Personal Development, Personal Leadership Development, Creativity and Innovation, Cultural Competencies in work place.
