Abia Born Paralympian, Miss Esther Ogechika Nworgu, has just taken delivery of her newly acquired motorised wheelchair.
It should be recalled that Miss Esther Ogechika Nworgu had sometime last year, through her Facebook page, appealed to friends and well-wishers to assist her get a motorised wheelchair to facilitate her movements.
Newsportal was also involved in publicising the appeals for the purchase of the electric wheelchair.
Nworgu, who is from Umuaka village in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, from time to time, continued to appeal and thank her Facebook friends for the assistance they were giving her until the goal was met.
In appreciation to all those who identified with her in the quest for wheelchair, she wrote:
“To all who contributed from the highest currency to the lowest (if there’s anything of such), I appreciate so much from the depth of my heart.
“For providing me this Benz, God Almighty will never let you down.
“To all the students who contributed even their widow’s mite, you will never have carry-over, excellent results awaits you at the end.
“To market people, I pray for business expansion and divine national and international connections. To workers, I pray for divine promotion.
“To business owners, I pray for connection to both national and International business bodies.
“To families, I pray for peace that pass all understanding and may your homes be a little heaven on earth.
“To sick people, you’ve paid for all your sickness for the Lord will lift His healing hands upon you and you shall be free from sickness.
“To those unemployed, you’ve just opened a door of employments for yourselves.
“To the aged, may you live longer in good health to eat the fruits of you labour.
“I can’t thank you enough but my God will reward each and everyone of you with good health and you’ll prosper in all you do.”
