The brilliant efforts of Kelechi Iheanacho in the dying minutes of the match between Nigeria and Sierra Leone made the Super Eagles triumph by three goals.
Starting the game on a strong foot from an Osimhen goal and gradually losing momentum over the course of the game, the Nigerian national team managed to secure a victory by a late minute goal from substitute striker Kelechi Iheanancho.
Sierra Leone came from behind to tie the game twice with goals from Mustapha Bundu and Augustus Kargbo but they weren’t enough to snatch the victory from the Super Eagles.
Nigeria now sit comfortably at the top of the group with twelve points from five games while Sierra Leone are third with five points from five games.
