Stalwarts of the Ukwa West chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in continuation of their campaign rally, on Tuesday, stormed the Asa North Ward with messages of renewed hope, rescue and develop Abia, restoration and rebuilding of Ukwa West and Ukwa East Local Government Areas.
Speaking during the rally which involved the six communities of Asa North – Umuiku Isi Asa, Umuekechi, Omumauzor, Obingwu, Umuezeke and Mkpukwe at the Obingwu Town Hall, the candidate of the APC for the Ukwa Federal Constituency, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri assured the people that voting him into the House of Representatives would translate into massive transformation of the Federal Constituency.
He stated that he would change the economic and political narratives of the people, and urged them to vote massively for the APC as it would constitute the majority in the next Senate and House of Representatives.
Also speaking, the candidate of the party for the Ukwa West State Constituency, Mr. Noble Izuchukwu Ahuruonye said he would ensure that the dividends of democracy reached the people of Ukwa West if voted into the House of Assembly.
Other speakers, Chief Nwogu Nwogu, Hon. Ezedinachi Kanu, Chief Dans Adokiye, Sir Rogers Nwachinyere and Engr. Chinwendu Uruakpa called on the people to vote massively for all the candidates of the APC in the forthcoming general elections.
