Preparatory to Nigeria’s presidential election which holds on February, 25, 2023, the Tinubu Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, TSGICC, Saturday held a verification exercise of the Ukwa West Local Government Area, Abia State chapter of the Council.
The Zonal Coordinator of the Council, Hon. Prosper Onyenucheya said the purpose of the exercise was to physically confirm the members who have been selected to work for the actualisation of the quest of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC to emerge as Nigeria’s president.
He stated that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket would usher in a renewed hope for Nigeria, adding that the APC presidential candidate has been known as a man who does not forget those that work for him.
Onyenucheya urged the members of the Council to dedicate themselves, wholly, to their assignment of door-to-door campaign for the presidential hopeful.
Earlier in his speech, the Ukwa West Coordinator of the Council, Mr. ThankGod Ntaku said the chapter has been working assiduously for the presidential candidate of the APC, stressing that the achievements of Tinubu in Nigeria’s political history were enough motivations to work with him.
The verification exercise was also supervised by the Director of Data Management, Abia State chapter of the TSGICC, Chief William Nwanguma and Deputy Director, Operations, Mr. Dave Ordor.
