The Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri on Wednesday at Abuja urged the Abia State representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Eruba Dimgba to focus more on the development of Ukwa land as stated in the Act that established the Commission.
Speaking during a reception organised in honour of the Abia State NDDC Representative by the Asa Development Union, ADU, Abuja branch, Okpokiri, who is also a member of the ADU, Abuja branch, said he was confident that Dimgba would deliver on his mandate, considering the current magnitude of road project that took off while he was Director in the Commission.
He urged him not to relent, but to concentrate on executing more projects in Ukwa as stipulated in the NDDC Act.
In his remarks, Chief Eruba, who was accompanied by his wife, promised to implement more meaningful projects that will reflect the spirit and the letter of the Act establishing the NDDC.
Among the dignitaries who were at the ceremony, which attracted numerous Asa women who are members of the ADU, Abuja branch, included the Chairman of ADU, Abuja branch, Chief Okoro, Prince Lucky Ogbuji, Deputy Director, NDDC, and Sterling Chinwendu Uruakpa.
