The atmosphere at Obokwe, Asa in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, on Friday, was quite gloomy in spite of the beautiful weather. The pain and sorrow on the faces of a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Barrister Levi Isiguzo and his four lovely children were palpable, and expectedly so, as the body of Late Evangelist Mrs Uzochukwu Evelyn Isiguzo was committed to mother-earth.

In his tribute to the woman that he was married to for 23 years before the cold hands of death snatched her away, Isiguzo, who described the woman as his prayer warrior and backbone, recalled that if it was money, medicine or prayers that would have revived her that she wouldn’t have died.

His words:

“We got married out of genuine love and sincere faith in God; little did I know you will leave me so untimely. In your lifetime, you were a devoted born again child of God and treasured Him far above humanity and pleasures of life.”

Late Uzochukwu Evelyn Isiguzo was born September 14, 1974 to the family of late Mr & Mrs Augustine Afakwu of Obeaku Quarters, Onicha Ugbo in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State. She attended Nwaora Anyaegbu Memorial Primary School, Inland Town, Onitsha, before proceeding to Ado Girls Secondary School, Onitsha.

She studied Science Technology with bias in Applied Chemistry at the Institute of Management Technology, IMT, Enugu, and graduated with an Upper Credit.
