Arrangements have reached advanced stage for the Ukwa chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to play host to the Governorship candidate of the party in the 2023 general elections, High Chief Ikechi Emenike.
The Abia State Secretary of the APC, Chief Chidi Avaja, had in a statement, said there would be a Super Stakeholders meeting with the party’s governorship candidate at the Country Home of the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency candidate, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri, at Owo-Ala in Ukwa West Local Government of Abia State on Friday, August 12, 2022.
Okpokiri, who lost the House of Representatives ticket of the party in 2019, has continued to maintain his structure within the party that cuts across the two local government areas since then.
The London trained legal practitioner with over 25 years experience maintains a Chamber at Abuja, Nigeria and London, United Kingdom.
He made a first class in English Language and Literature before proceeding to study Law up to the Master degree level.
Okpokiri has continued to say that the marginalisation of the people of Ukwa Federal Constituency motivated him to veer into politics.
