The Ukwa West chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State, on Thursday, inaugurated its Local Government Area Executive and the Chairmen of the Wards to pilot the affairs of the party.
The APC Chairman of the LGA, Mr. Uju Nwarie, who conducted the inauguration, charged the Officers to be up and doing, adding that there was need for them to welcome and embrace new members in order to have a strong and virile party in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, which attracted a large gathering of party faithfuls, former Commissioner, Niger Delta Development Commission, NDCC and the Treasurer of the party, Chief Nwogu Nwogu, encouraged all the members of the party to remain steadfast, stressing that their good work would bring them to the limelight in the party both in the Local Government Area and the State.
In own speech, Engr. Sterling Chinwe Uruakpa, a member of the Board of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi and the State Assistant Secretary advised the newly inaugurated LG Executive and Ward Chairmen to appreciate the enormity of the task ahead of them as leaders and work assiduously for the growth of the party at the LG.
He assured them that with the collective efforts of everyone, electoral victory is certain in 2023.
