The Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Abia State chapter, Pastor Innocent Adiele has lauded the massive turnout of residents of Aba during the Sensitisation and mobilisation rally organised by the body at the Aba Town Hall in Aba North Local Government Area.
In a statement released on Friday, Adiele who disclosed that the event was a pilot programme, thanked the Local Government Chairmen of the organisation for the initiative.
According to the Secretary General, the general objective of the programme is to mobilise support for the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, who he said has embarked on many developmental projects that have earned him a second tenure in office.
He said the sensitisation and mobilisation rally would be held across the 17 local government areas in the State, and coordinated by the State Executive Committee of the organisation.
The Secretary General emphasised that the Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide places much premium on good governance, and would not relent in its efforts to ensure that Gov Otti’s second term bid is achieved.
