APC Presidential Primary: Dimgba Hails Massive Support for Tinubu in Ukwa West, Predicts APC Victory in 2027

The Commissioner representing Abia State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Eruba Dimgba, has commended members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ukwa West Local Government Area for their overwhelming support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the party’s 2026 presidential primary election.

President Tinubu recorded a landslide victory in Ukwa West during the APC presidential primary held on Saturday, May 23, 2026.

Addressing party stakeholders after the primary election, at his country home in Umuaka, Ukwa West, Dr. Dimgba praised the president’s performance in office, stating that Tinubu deserves a second term to consolidate on the achievements of his administration.

According to him, “Mr. President has done very well, and everyone here is happy that he will return for a second tenure. One term is not enough; he needs another opportunity to strengthen the gains of democracy.”

Dimgba also applauded the leadership qualities of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, assuring party faithful that all necessary democratic strategies would be deployed to ensure victory for all the APC candidates in the 2027 general elections in Ukwa West.

Stakeholders present at the gathering expressed confidence in Dimgba’s leadership and pledged their commitment to delivering electoral victories for the APC in future elections.

Among the notable APC stakeholders at the event were former Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Tony Mezie Nwubani; former Abia State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Sir Don Ubani; former Ukwa West Executive Chairman and APC candidate for Ukwa West State Constituency in the 2027 election, Chief Silvanus Nwaji, former Ukwa West Executive Chairman, Chief Okey Kanu; Abia State APC Treasurer, Chief John Ajuzieogu and former Abia State APC Assistant Secretary, Engr. Sterling Uruakpa.

Others were the President General of Asa Development Union (ADU), Elder Goodluck Nwanneakolam Nwuju, APC Zonal Secretary, Ubani Ogbonna, Legal Adviser, Barrister Sam Ogbonna and the Ukwa West APC Chairman Comrade Ihechinyere Success Enyinna.
