Chairman of Newsportal Limited, Chief ThankGod Ntaku, joined family, friends, and academic dignitaries on Saturday to celebrate his cousin, Dr. Linda Chinyere Adiele, who was conferred with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Port Harcourt’s convocation ceremony.
The event, held at the university’s main campus, also witnessed the conferment of honorary doctoral degrees on prominent Nigerian leaders, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Barrister Nyesom Wike, former Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Bello Masari, and Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Alhaji Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
Dr. Linda Adiele, a distinguished officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), currently holds the rank of Assistant Commander of Narcotics. Her academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management, from the University of Calabar, as well as a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Banking and Finance with Upper Credit from Federal Polytechnic, Oko.
A proud indigene of Ukwa West Local Government Area in Abia State, Dr. Adiele began her educational journey at Ozar Central School, Asa, and later attended Ozar Secondary School, both in Ukwa West.
