Former Secretary to the Abia State Government, Pastor Ralph Egbu has said that the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti has shown glimpses of very positive and effective governance culture in the two years he has been in office.
Egbu stated this during a press interview on the reasons behind his dumping the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for the Labour Party, LP. He pointed out that Governor Otti had recorded very meaningful achievements, adding, “under the administration, Democratic temperament has been expanded, while salaries are being paid as and when due, life restored to pensioners, sanitary conditions and waste management greatly improved.” He also highlighted other achievements of Governor Otti.
The former SSG, who, over the weekend formally handed over his resignation letter to the Oza Ukwu Ward Chairman, Bidwell Nwankwo, said he was glad that the Governor had shown that Ukwa people would have a better deal in terms of development and representation under his administration.
He assured the Governor that the people of Ukwa would join the rest of the good people of Abia State to give him maximum support going forward.
