Abia State Commissioner for Environment, Philemon Asonye Ogbonna, has charged the newly inaugurated executive members of Abia Arise, Ukwa West Chapter, to champion unity and drive grassroots mobilization in support of Governor Dr. Alex Otti’s transformative leadership.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony held at Shell Cluster Hall, Obehie-Asa, on Wednesday, Hon. Ogbonna emphasized the importance of teamwork and strategic collaboration within the leadership of Abia Arise. He urged the newly inducted leaders to actively engage their respective wards and communities to build widespread support for the Otti-led administration’s development agenda.

The inauguration was presided over by State Coordinator Mazi Nkem Okoro, supported by Deputy State Coordinator Sophia Chidinma Ikpeama and Zonal Coordinators:

Dike, Ukwa West Chairman, Labour Party, Local Government Councillors, Supervisory Councillors, Labour Party executives, and representatives from the ten political wards in Ukwa West.
The gathering reinforced the commitment of Abia Arise to grassroots political engagement and community development, aligning with the vision of a progressive New Abia under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti.
