The Coordinator of the Ukwa West Chapter of the City Boy Movement (CBM), Engr. Uruakpa Chinwendu Sterling, MNSE, COREN, MNIEEE, has extended heartfelt appreciation to key stakeholders and supporters following the successful inauguration of the LGA and Ward Executives of the Abia South Zone, held in Obehie, Ukwa West, on Tuesday.
In a statement released after the event, Engr. Uruakpa specially acknowledged his political leader, Chief Dr. Eruba Dimgba, the Leader of Ukwa West APC and Abia representative on the Board of NDDC, for his outstanding support, guidance, and contributions toward the success of the programme. He described Chief Dimgba’s role as pivotal, noting that his consistent encouragement and commitment were instrumental in delivering a highly successful inauguration.
He also expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Chief Okezie Clement Erondu, the Abia South Zonal Coordinator, for his fatherly role, guidance, and invaluable advice, praying that God continues to bless and strengthen him.
Engr. Uruakpa further extended his appreciation to the other LGA Coordinators of Abia South—Ukwa East, Ugwunagbo, Obingwa, Abia North, and Aba South—for their valuable inputs, cooperation, and massive mobilization, which significantly contributed to the success of the event.
He commended the efforts of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), led by Hon. Daberechi Ihenko, for their dedication and meticulous planning, which ensured the smooth execution of the programme.
The Coordinator also expressed deep gratitude to the CBM LGA Executives, Ward Executives, Polling Unit Executives, as well as the Women Wing and Youth Wing, who not only turned out in large numbers but also actively participated in the planning and success of the programme. According to him, their commitment and teamwork were vital to the overall success of the event.
Special recognition was given to the Ukwa West CBM Media Team, led by Comrade Davidson Onyema, for their exceptional performance and professionalism throughout the programme.
Engr. Uruakpa also appreciated the presence and support of party leaders in Ukwa West, including the State Treasurer, Chief John Ajuzieogu; the Abia South Zonal Secretary, Elder Ubani Ogbonna; the LGA Chairman, Comrade Success Enyinna; his executive members; and the Ward Chairmen who graced the occasion.
He further acknowledged the Asa Development President, Elder Goodluck Nwuju, alongside other Ukwa West APC stakeholders who came out en masse to support the event, emphasizing that their presence added great value and significance to the occasion.
Reaffirming the commitment of the movement, Engr. Uruakpa assured all supporters that the leadership of the Ukwa West City Boy Movement remains dedicated to unity, collaboration, and progressive engagement. He emphasized that the group will continue to work collectively in the spirit of peace and progress towards the reelection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He concluded by praying for God’s blessings upon all supporters, noting that their love and commitment to the City Boy Movement remain exceptional.
