United Dance Organisation Competition Ends In Grand Style In Port Harcourt

The United Dance Organisation (UDO) has just ended a dancing competition among the Nigerian youths with the view of competing globally to earn International recognition at a time when unemployment is very difficult to access in Nigeria.

In his Welcome Address at the Grand Finale of the UDO dance competition, the biggest dance championship event in Sub Sharan Africa, Chief Andy Azuka, the CEO of Amexx Logistics Services Limited, an indigenous organization with a global solution in business, logistics services, entertainment, youth development, talent research and development and other high end value added services maintained that Amexx Logistics Services Limited is the sole representative of United Dance Organization, an International brand which organizes one of the biggest dance championships in the world.

The Executive Director stated that having gone through very rigorous processes to select our finalists, today’s event will eventually produce winners who will win cash prizes in the following categories; 1. One Million Naira (N1,000,000.00) for Team, 2. Five Hundred Thousand Naira (N500,000.00) for Duo-Quad 3. Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000.00) for Solo with other mouth watering opportunities.

According to Chief Azuka,the winners will proceed to Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom to participate in the Finals of World Dance Organization put together by United Dance Organization in August 2025, where eventual winners will automatically become global stars and celebrities in the world of entertainment.

“I hope that the best dancers will emerge as winners in today’s event. I also wish to use this medium to appreciate everyone here seated for coming to support these talents today” he said.

The CEO of Amexx Logistics Nigeria Ltd stated that 22 dancing groups will participate in the Grand Finale taking place in Port Harcourt. He further explained that the Grand Finale is a follow up of series of selection process in the country and eliminations from different zones across Nigeria.

In his Remark, the Executive Director Finance and Commercial of UDO, Ejie Olongwe explained that the talent hunt is take the youth off the streets because the skill of dancing can lead them to participate with other youths around the globe.

He expressed satisfaction that the organisers have put in place neccessery arrangement for the success of the programme. He promised that competition will be free and fair for all the competitors.The Judges are Terry Igho. Trace Gambo and Daye Horsfall who at various times are winners of dancing competitions in Nigeria.

Winning the over all dance for the team, XMOB dance crew take the first prize of 1million naira.

In the group dance Exquisite Dance group win the first price with 500 Thousand naira. The group of two young girls from Akwa Ibom State, set a record, while the winner Single category Mr. Chitiozie Donald from Imo State, shocked and dazzled the crowd with his talent. The Exquisite group in an interview with journalist shortly after the event thanked the organisers for their hospitality and putting together the competition.
