Let Us Continue To Support President Tinubu As We Build Stronger Abia APC – Deputy Speaker Kalu Urges Stakeholders

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, has called on stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State to remain steadfast in their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s transformative vision for Nigeria. He made this call during a high-level APC stakeholders’ meeting held in Umuahia on Sunday.

Kalu emphasized the importance of unity, reconciliation, and grassroots mobilisation as critical components for strengthening the APC in Abia State. He encouraged members to actively recruit new supporters and work collaboratively to advance the party’s goals at both state and national levels.

Reaffirming the vitality of the APC in Abia, the Deputy Speaker noted that only through unity and teamwork could the party achieve meaningful progress in the State. He also announced plans to embark on a comprehensive tour of all 17 local government areas in the state, with the aim of assessing ongoing mobilization efforts and engaging directly with grassroots members.

Kalu added that while other political parties were sidelining seasoned politicians, the APC remained open to welcoming experienced leaders into its fold to bolster its ranks.

In his remarks, Abia APC Chairman Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu praised President Tinubu’s bold economic reforms, noting that transitional hardships are often necessary for long-term national growth. He urged party members to remain patient and supportive, encouraging those who felt marginalized to return and contribute to the party’s progress.

Ononogbu stated that there was no country where serious economic reforms were done without the people experiencing some initial challenges, adding that Tinubu deserved credit for making tough decisions that would yield long-term benefits for the country.

The well-attended meeting drew APC stalwarts from across Abia State, signaling renewed energy and momentum within the party.
