Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti has appointed Dr. Onwubiko Dike as a member of the Abia State University Governing Council.
The State Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey KANU, who disclosed this on Monday at Umuahia, while briefing journalists on the outcome of the State Executive Council meeting, said the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Onyemachi Ogbulu has been replaced by Prof. Ndukwe Okeudo.

Abia State Government has removed the Vice Chancellor of Abia State University, Uturu, Prof. Onyemachi Ogbulu and other principal officers of the university.
The Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu, disclosed this in Umuahia on Monday, while briefing the press on the outcome of this week’s Executive Council, EXCO meeting chaired by Governor Alex Otti, disclosing that the new VC is now Prof. Ndukwe Okeudo.
Prince Kanu also said, “Rt. Hon. Agwu U. Agwu is the new Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Catherine Uju Ifejika is the new Chancellor, and Onwubiko Dike is a member of the Governing Council.”
Onwubiko Dike is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Director of Entrepreneurship Studies at the Rhema University, Nigeria located in Aba, Abia State. He is also a member of the Governing Council of the University.
