NUT Chairman, Nwuju Endorses Ukwa West ZLP Chairmanship Candidate, Dike Nwankwo

As the race for the Abia State Local Government election slated for November 2, 2024 hots up, the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Teachers, Ukwa West chapter, Pastor Chukwuemeka Nwuju, has endorsed the Chairmanship Candidate of the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, Pastor Dike Nwankwo and his running mate, Pastor Joel Nwankwo.

Writing on one of the popular Ukwa West WhatsApp platforms, Nwuju said the candidate of the ZLP ad his running mate had the hearts to confront the developmental challenges confronting Ukwa West Local Government Area.

He says:

“The Nwankwos’ are well loaded with good programs to change the old narrative of underdevelopment in Ukwa West LGA. As men of God, one expects them to embrace to run an inclusive and open administration devoid of discrimination and segregation. Pst. Dike Nwankwo has been known as one leader who welcomes everybody and is always ready to give attention even to the minutest detail of a matter.

“Pst. Dike Nwankwo is a visionary and pragmatic leader who understands the yearning of his people. These aspirations he has been preaching of their realization. A crusader of laudable programs to be sited in Ukwa West LGA, he stands a very better chance to champion the overall development of a government under his watch.

“A lover of good things and first class scholar who does not take ‘second’ for a position, Pst. Dike Nwankwo is poised to take Ukwa West LGA to a first class ranking among the 17 LGAS of Abia State. A national figure who will not allow himself to be named among failed leaders.

“A lover of education and a first class scholar, Pst. Dike Nwankwo is determined to make education a priority in his administration. A high level of illiteracy will be erased from our land. Cultism, youth restiveness, smoking, aggressiveness, brutality and other social vices will be seriously combated.

“In fact, there is the urgent need to give the incoming government of these two men of God the total support, cooperation and commitment it needs by all Asa people both at home and in diaspora, before, on and after November 2, 2024.”
