The Ozar Ukwu and Ozar West Wards of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State have concluded arrangements to hold a joint meeting on Monday, September 16, 2024.
According to a critical stakeholder of the party in Ozar West, Hon. Ezedinachi Kanu, the meeting, which would hold at Ikpokwu, Asa in Ukwa West, in his country home, has been called to explain to old and new members of the party about the need to work assiduously to ensure that it wins subsequent elections for the party in their Wards.
He said it was important to sensitise members about the forthcoming local government elections in Abia State, stressing that every election, whether conducted by the State Electoral body or National, counts in the life of a political party.
Kanu, who was the campaign Director General of the candidate of the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, disclosed that the APC in the constituency has been growing in leaps and bounds, adding that there would always be strength in number.
