The Asa Development Union, ADU, the apex socio-cultural organisation in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, has congratulated Kingsley C. Ogbuji on his recent promotion to the rank of a Major In the United States Army.
In a statement issued by the Acting President General of ADU, Barrister G.O.C. Ihenko, on Monday, the Union said it received the news of the elevation of Ogbuji with great joy, adding that the achievement is a testament to the fact that Ukwa West is not only blessed with oil, but also has men and women who are very hardworking, focused, and committed to the growth of humanity.
He said the enviable height achieved by Ogbuji did not come to those who know him as a surprise considering his commitment to excellence right from his days in both primary and secondary schools.
The Acting President General prayed God to continue to guide, guard and strengthen Major Ogbuji, as he strives for more accomplishments in his chosen career.
Major Kingsley C. Ogbuji is from Umunteke Community in Asa, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.
