A Chinese whose name has not been revealed has reportedly pushed a young girl who worked with Inner Galaxy Steel Company in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State to death.
The deceased, Ocheze Ogbonna was reported dead after she was pushed down from a crane by her Chinese boss. Miss Ocheze Ogbonna was an orphan.
Report reaching Newsportal has it that the youths of the community, Umuahala, where the deceased came from laid siege at the company, but were dispersed by men of the Nigeria Army, who allegedly shot Light Chimeko Ahuruonye, one of youths that laid siege at the company.
As at the time of filing this report, arrangements were being made by relations of the victim to rush him to an hospital in the city, as he could not be admitted by any of the health facilities close to the Umuahala community due to his condition.
A community leader who spoke to Newsportal disclosed that the youths would not be detered as they were ready to continue to protest the sudden death of their sister.
