The President of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele.
Tinubu had during his inaugural speech said that the naira redesign policy by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) would be reviewed, adding, “the currency swap was too harshly applied by the CBN given the number of unbanked Nigerians.
