Human Rights Activist and presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has said former president, Olusegun Obasanjo had no credibility to talk about fraudulent elections in Nigeria.
It should be recalled that Obasanjo had in a press statement entitled, “2023 Presidential Election – An Appeal for Caution and Rectification”, alerted president Muhammadu Buhari on the dangers of having a fraudulent election in Nigeria.
In the press statement, he said:
“It is no secret that INEC officials, at operational level, have been allegedly compromised to make what should have worked not to work and to revert to manual transmission of results which is manipulated and the results doctored “.
Reacting to the statement in his verified Facebook page, Omoyele accused Obasanjo of organising some of the most fraudulent elections during his 8 year tenure as President of Nigeria, adding that the former president laid the foundation for the shambolic elections that has become Nigeria’s lot now.
