The Stranger elements in Obehie, Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State on Thursday at Obehie, the commercial nerve centre of Ukwa, pledged their total support for the candiadate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Barr. Nnadozie Okpokiri.
The Stranger elements, who said they were impressed by the conduct of the APC candidate throughout his interaction with them, assured him of their votes, adding that they were particularly impressed by his decency and respect for his opponents.
Earlier in his speech, the APC candidate, Okpokiri laid bare his plans to put smiles on the faces of indigenes and residents of Ukwa Federal Constituency.
He stated that his upbringing, academic background and exposure in life would not let him to shortchange the people of Ukwa if he is voted into the Green Chamber, stressing that he would provide the necessary leadership that Ukwa needs at this critical stage of its development.
