The Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, has appointed a seasoned journalist, Mr. Willie Etim Willie, as his Special Assistant on Media.
Until his appointment, Etim, was a lecturer at the Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.
Mr Willie who had risen to the position of a Regional Editor with a national newspaper is a thorough-bred and multi-talented media professional with specialty in Journalism, Marketing Communications, Public Relations and Branding.
He is expected to bring his more than 25years cognate experience covering mainstream media and corporate communications practice, having worked in various capacities as reporter, editor, public relations executive and media consultant, to bear on the overall image of the NDDC.
Willie is currently writing his PhD Dissertation in Integrated Marketing Communications at the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialisation in Marketing from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology and Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Management from the University of Calabar, Cross River State, and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mass Communication from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State.
