The Ukwa West chapter of the Tinubu Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council on Tuesday joined other members of the All Progressives Congress, APC at the Umuahia Township Stadium to receive the presidential candidate of the party, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
As at the time of filing this report,enthusiastic party faithfuls were trooping into the stadium in their numbers for the occasion of the flagging off of the APC presidential campaign in Abia State.
The public holiday declared by the State Governor to enable the people of Abia collect their Permanent Voters Cards, PVCs, seems to have worked in favour of the APC rally as more people were encouraged to move to Umuahia for the event.
