The Chairman of the Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu has stated that High Chief Ikechi Emenike is the authentic gubernatorial candidate of the party in the State.
Speaking during a press conference at Umuahia, Ononogbu emphasized that Emenike had passed through the legally constituted guidelines of the APC and met the demands of the Nigerian electoral system, which have qualified him as the authentic governorship candidate of the party for the 2023 general elections.
He further said that Emenike remained the only Governorship Candidate without any indictment, and connection to the impunity and criminality that had ravaged Abia over the years, leaving the State in chaos and comatose.
Ononogbu urged all progressive Abians to sheath their swords and embrace true, accountable, people-oriented governance, by electing the credible, capable, compassionate, competent and courageous Governorship candidate of the APC, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, adding that his giant strides in the financial and economic sectors speak volume and distinguishes him as the best amongst the numerous others.
