Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah has indicated his willingness to appeal the judgement of the Court of Appeal that declared High Chief Ikechi Emenike as the authentic Abia State governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
It should be recalled that Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja had pronounced Ogah as the APC governorship candidate for Abia State.
The message released by Ogah’s team reads:
“Dear Abians of goodwill,
“Do not be discouraged but keep your eyes on the Ball…
“At no time did we ever fathom that the journey towards Abia rebirth, redemption and emancipation will be smooth and easy without storms..
“Like our Principal will always say, challenges are anticipated. However, good news is that, they are not insurmountable. At the end, Abia will Rejoice and we shall triumph to the glory of God because He alone rules in the affairs of men.
“Our team of lawyers has already set out to file Notice of Appeal to Supreme Court for a holistic determination of all issues.”
