The Finance and Fund Raising Committee of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council has held its inaugural meeting at Abuja.
The Director, Media and Publicity Committee, Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council, (ICC), Mr. Hilliard Eta, had in October said the Council would complement the Presidential Campaign Council, (PCC) with focus on the grassroots.
According to Eta, the Independent Campaign Council is also expected to expand the support base of the APC Presidential flag-bearer, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the hinterlands of the country.
The Chairman of the Finance and Fund Raising Committee of the Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council who is also the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Tertiary Education Trust Fund, (TETFund), Alhaji Kashim Imam is working with other members of the Committee, including the deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha and Sir Marc Wabara to deliver on the mandate of the Committee.
Some leaders of the ICC present at the inaugural meeting of the Committee were the National Coordinator, ICC, HE Ali Silas Agara, Deputy National Coordinator (South), ICC, Hon. Akin Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa and Secretary, ICC, Hajia’s Safaa M. I. Adam.
