A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe has said that both the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar are friends.
In an interview with Arise Television monitored by Newsportal on Monday, Ogunlewe advised the Nigerian electorate not to be bothered about the verbal quarrel between the candidates, but should concentrate on what they are bringing to the table for the people, as Nigerians gear up towards the 2023 general elections.
Responding to a question on how the presidential candidate of APC planned to fulfil his promise to the electorate of wiping away agitations in the country considering the fact that no leader has achieved it since 1999, Ogunlewe said it was the plan of a Tinubu-led government to ensure that restructuring was done in the country, adding that situations where regions would be allowed to control their own resources would definitely address the issue of cries against marginalisation.
The former Minister of Works also pointed out that Nigerians were not looking for a boxer as president, but someone who has an articulate brain to do the necessary delegation of duties in a manner that would solve the problems of Nigeria, stressing that Tinubu knows what to do to deliver dividends of democracy.
