The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri has said that the need to have men and women of knowledge, experience and expertise in governance motivated him to venture into politics.
He noted with dismay that in spite of the fact that Ukwa is an oil bearing area, it has the worst network roads in the entire nation of Nigeria.
Okpokiri, who made these assertions in his manifesto, pointed out that Ukwa needs a representative with the requisite law making background, advocacy, negotiating and networking skills who would attend to the challenges of the people and bring them to the attention of relevant federal authorities.
“I pledge to be faithful, bold, courageous and relentless in defence of the interests of the people of Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives”, he added.
