The Campaign Jingle promoting the candidacy of the Gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party, LP, sponsored by a Chieftain of the party, Mr. Philemon Asonye Ogbonna, hits the airwaves today through the Magic FM radio station based at Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia State.
The jingle, which extols the virtues of the Governorship hopeful, is expected to run between the month of October and February, the last month before the Governorship elections.
Ogbonna, who is the Ipu West Ward Leader of the LP, had declared during his formal reception into the party, that he joined politics primarily to contribute his quota to the emergence of Otti as the Governor of Abia State in 2023.
It should be recalled that Otti has contested twice for the seat of the Governor in 2015 and 2019 on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.
The seasoned Economist had stated on the day he declared his intention to run for the governorship seat of Abia State that he was not in the race for some Abians but in the race for all Abians.
