Ahead of the 2023 general election, a youth group Izzi Nnodo Youths Assembly has endorsed the Gubernatorial Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi state, Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii
The youth group had on the earlier hours of Monday paid a surprising visit to the Governorship hopeful and pledged their unalloyed support to his candidacy.
In his remarks, the leader of the group declaring their support hinted that their decision to rally support around Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii is premised on his antecedent as a philantropist who has used his personal money for welfarist purposes.
He further revealed that Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii stands out in competency, saying his disposition and track record springs higher amongst other candidates gunning for the office.
The Izzi Nnodo Youths Assembly used the event to call on Izzi Nnodo people to massively Support the candidacy of Dr Odii stressing that zoning ends when it meets capacity and competency.
Reacting, Dr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii appreciated the group for the visit and support. He assured his visitors of his commitment to a better Ebonyi state.
The Governorship hopeful explained that his driving force in leadership is for the betterment of mankind. He said his administration when elected will witness massive empowerments of the youths as his government will be anchored on youths development, job creation and reform of the civil service.
He charged the youths not to allow themselves to be used by the politicians as tools for thuggery and campaign of calumny as the campaign period begins.
