A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Abia State, Chief Nwogu Nnah Nwogu has expressed gratitude to the party’s gubernatorial candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike for choosing his running mate for the 2023 general elections from the Ukwa political bloc of Abia State.
Nwogu, who stated this in a brief interview with Newsportal on Sunday at the unveiling of Rev’d Barrister Mrs Glory Felix Akara as the running mate to Abia APC governorship candidate at Bende Federal Constituency, said Emenike has always shown love to the people of Ukwa since he began to contest for governorship elections in Abia State.
He described the Abia APC gubernatorial candidate as a man of integrity and great dedication to his goals, adding that he has the capacity, zeal and determination to rescue and develop Abia State.
He also said High Chief Emenike has shown an open mind in his relationship with people from different parts of Abia through the spread of political appointments which he attracted to the State.
Nwogu, who is the Abia State Treasurer of the APC, urged the people of Ukwa to reciprocate the love Emenike has for them by supporting overwhelmingly his candidature and the party in the forthcoming general elections.
He expressed confidence in the abilities of High Chief Emenike to pull Abia State out from the economic morass it has been dragged into by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
