Former Commissioner in the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Chief Nwogu Nnah Nwogu has commended the Ukwa East and Ukwa West chapters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for turning out in large number to receive its Gubernatorial candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike on Friday.
Speaking to Newsportal on the sideline during the official visit of the governorship candidate to the flag bearer of the APC for the Ukwa Federal Constituency in the 2023 general elections, Barrister Nnadozie Okpokiri at his Country Home in Owo-Ala, Ukwa West Local Government Area, Nwogu described the large crowd that came to welcome High Chief Emenike as an endorsement of his capacity and genuine commitment to give Abia purposeful leadership.
“High Chief Ikechi Emenike has great love for Abia, and would deliver dividend of democracy if he is given the opportunity to become the governor of Abia State. He is a man with great vision that is determined to change the economic narratives of Abia.”
Nwogu, who is the current State Treasurer of the Abia State APC, assured the people of Ukwa that an Emenike led government would translate into good fortunes for the oil producing local government area, and solicited their support for the party.
“It is because of the faith that Emenike has in the people of Ukwa that has made him to continue to choose his running mates from the area”, he added.
