In line with his spirit of magnanimity, the member representing Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike, Wednesday, reached out to an octogenarian and an accident victim with some cash gifts, household items and some palliatives.
Speaking through his Liaison Officer, Mr. Tony Agbanyim, while presenting cash gifts and household items to the woman, Chief Mrs Helen Azuka, who is a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, at her home town in Ogbor Hill area of Aba, Ebisike described her as a living legend, stressing that it pays to reward a good worker in his or her life than mourn him or her with sweet words in death.
The accident victim, Mr. Chiemela Egege, who represents Ogbor 1, Ward 10 in the Aba North Local Government as a Councillor also benefited from the kindness of Hon.Ebisike.
The Councillor, according to the representative of Hon. Ebisike, survived the fatal accident which claimed the lives of all others because God in His infinite mercy decided to give him a second chance to make amends in his relationship with Him.
He advised him to be at peace with humanity and make prayers his lifestyle. He prayed God to grant him a quick recovery.
Agbanyim was accompanied by the Honourable Member’s Special Adviser on Women Affairs, Mrs Chikaodi Nwankodo who is also a member of the Abia State Elders Rehabilitation Committee.
