The Abia State All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that the National Assembly Primaries Appeal Committee has commenced sitting to receive and consider complaints arising from the exercise.
The APC held its House of Representatives primaries election on Saturday, May 16, 2026.
According to a press release signed by the Publicity Secretary of the Abia State APC, Uche Aguoru, any aspirant who feels dissatisfied or aggrieved by any aspect of the primary election is encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity by formally submitting complaints, petitions, or appeals to the Committee.

“The Party urges all concerned aspirants to embrace this lawful and peaceful avenue for addressing grievances, as it remains committed to ensuring fairness, strengthening confidence in the process, and preserving the unity of our great Party ahead of the 2027 General Elections”, the press release added.
The party further reassured all aspirants of a fair, transparent, and impartial appeal process and called on members to continue upholding the values of discipline, unity and party supremacy.
