The Executive Chairman of Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, Pst. Dike Nwankwo, on Saturday at the Nigerian British University (NBU), appealed to the institution for scholarship opportunities for deserving students of Ukwa West.
Nwankwo, who made the appeal during the third matriculation ceremony of the institution, said such collaboration would would not only expand academic access, but also deepen the bond between the university and its host communities.
He noted that the NBU had been on a steady rise, adding that the deliberate cultivation of high standards inevitably produces sustainable greatness.
To the matriculating students, the Chairman said, “today marks your formal initiation into a community of thinkers, innovators, and future leaders. Embrace discipline, integrity, commitment, and intellectual curiosity as guiding principles throughout your academic journey.”
