Ex-TSGICC Coordinator, Ntaku Urges Defectors To APC To Resign from Former Political Parties

A former Local Government Area Coordinator of the defunct Tinubu-Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council (TSGICC), Chief ThankGod Ntaku, has called on recent defectors to the All Progressives Congress (APC) to formally resign from their former political parties.

In a statement released on Thursday, Ntaku, who was the Ukwa West Coordinator of TSGICC, emphasized that it was improper for individuals to claim membership of the APC while still retaining affiliations with their previous political parties. He argued that such dual loyalties create confusion and pose a threat to party unity.

“It becomes difficult to identify them as genuine APC members when they haven’t resigned from their former parties,” Ntaku stated.

Ntaku described such actions as political double-dealing, warning that individuals who refuse to formally cut ties with their past parties could be viewed as moles within the APC. He added that their presence might be harmful to the party’s internal structure and progress.

“You cannot claim to be in APC and still hold membership in another party. That’s not just improper, it’s potentially dangerous,” he said.

Chief ThankGod Ntaku, a long-standing APC stalwart since 2014, reiterated the need for integrity and loyalty within the party.
