Family of late Engr. Stanley Nana has expressed gratitude to the people of Abia State for attending the burial ceremony of their patriarch in large numbers.
The remains of late Engr Nana were committed to mother earth in his country home at Owo Asa in the Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
In a statement dated September 1, 2024, the chief mourner of the family, Mr. Noel O. Nana, said the family was highly impressed that in spite of the Environmental Sanitation that held in Abia, people from different parts of the State thronged the venue of the burial to honour their late father.
His appreciation reads in part:
“Our family was highly honoured yesterday, 31st August, 2024 when we buried our late father, who meant the whole world to us.
“The large turnout was a testament to the fact that our late father lived a good life, and left behind persons that are loved by the society.
“We remain very grateful to our Asa people that rallied round us to make the ceremony memorable. To the many that came from outside Ukwa land, our gratitude to you is invaluable.”
Noel Nana also thanked his friends, well wishers and immediate family members for the support they gave throughout the ceremony.
