The Commissioner representing Abia State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Eruba Dimgba has called on the residents of Ukwa West Local Government Area to come out in large numbers to accord the leadership of City Boy Movement in Abia State a rousing welcome at Obehie.
It has been reported that the City Boy Movement is scheduled to inaugurate its Local Government Area and Ward Executives in Abia South at Obehie.
In a statement released on Monday, April 13, 2026, Dimgba expressed support for the Movement, describing its vision of youth and grassroots mobilisation as very strategic in the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Commissioner also appealed to the members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ukwa to participate actively in the event scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the St. Anne’s Primary School, Obehie by 12 noon.
Among the dignitaries expected to grace the occasion are the Abia State City Boy Movement Director, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, State Patron, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, and the State Coordinator, Chief Okechukwu Gberemakor, alongside other members of the State Executives.
