The Ugosimba Women Association, as part of its activities to mark the Easter celebration, donated food items and consumables to the Susana Homes for the less privileged located at Obuzor in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.
The charitable visit which took place on Monday highlights the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable populations and promoting community development in Ukwa West Local Government Area.
In her speech, the Secretary of the Association, Mrs. Edith Chijioke said they considered it necessary to identify with the Home and assured that the association would continue to visit.
Mrs Okwuchi Ohaji, the Deputy Director of the home, who received the items, thanked the Ugosimba Women Association for the kind gesture.
Items donated included rice, noddles, beverages and tissue papers.
