A renowned academic from Ukwa land, Dr. Chimezie Enyioko, has emerged as the Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Colleges of Agriculture (ASUCA), Federal College of Land Resources Technology (FECOLART), Owerri Chapter, Imo State.
Enyioko, who hails from Umudobia, Asa in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, was elected following a successful and peaceful transition process within the union. Until his emergence as Chairman, he served as the Secretary General of ASUCA, FECOLART Chapter from 2020, a position in which he played a key role in strengthening the union’s administrative framework. He is also currently the National Publicity Secretary of ASUCA.
In his post-election address, Dr. Enyioko expressed deep gratitude to the Federal College of Land Resources Technology community for the confidence reposed in him and for ensuring a smooth leadership transition. He pledged to lead the union with dedication and integrity.
“I look forward to working together with all members, fostering unity, and advancing the interests of our chapter. Your support and cooperation are invaluable as we embark on this new journey together,” he said.
