Ukwa West Chairman Nwankwo Urges Youths to Embrace Growth, Competence as He Congratulates NIDSUG President-Elect

The Executive Chairman of Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, Pastor Dike Briggs Nwankwo, has charged youths across the local government and the Niger Delta region to embrace personal growth, competence, and collaboration, rather than rivalry.

Nwankwo made this call while congratulating Comrade Chika Precious Uchechukwu, the President-Elect of the Niger Delta Students Union Government (NIDSUG), who hails from Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.

In his congratulatory message, the Ukwa West Chairman emphasized that leadership demands preparation, discipline, and a genuine commitment to service, especially among young people aspiring to positions of influence.
According to Nwankwo, the emergence of Comrade Uchechukwu as NIDSUG President-Elect reflects the continued relevance of hard work, vision, and purposeful leadership among Niger Delta youths.

Part of the message reads:

“Your victory is not only a personal achievement but a source of pride to Ukwa West, Abia State, and the entire Niger Delta. It affirms that diligence, vision, and purposeful leadership are still rewarded among our youths. The Council is proud to have identified with your aspirations and wishes you well, being confident in your capacity to lead with integrity and inclusiveness.”

Pastor Nwankwo further urged the NIDSUG President-Elect to uphold the values of unity, accountability, and selfless service, while advancing the collective interests of Niger Delta students both at home and in the diaspora.
